One of our customers want to move from Netware 5 to Win2003

Currently Win2000 clients with 4.83SP2

We _NEED_ IPX

What issues are there?

Thanks

its usually recommended to run ipxspx or tcpip and not both at the same
time, but it can be done, just make sure the network/server/clients are
optimized, dont just throw stuff down & expect it to work perfect.

What requires ipxspx?

check out http://www.appdeploy.com/packages/detail.asp?id=108 & the links
within, especially the ithowto link

has your client looked at pricing between nw65 & w2k3svr? how many users? if
100 & under sbs65 suite would do nicely for the price, & if 5 & under you
can get sbs for free -

We would rather they stay Netware - they don't seem bothered by the idea of
having to reboot their servers regularly.

Advantage Database Server uses IPXSPX.
