I had the very same problem and searched these

knowledge directed me to a site called WWW.DOUGKNOX.COM
a wonderful site all you do is go to the left side of
the page click on windowXPfix it than on the right
side all the way down you will see FIX XP HELP down
loadit and its fixed, so happy to finally have my program
back. Chances are you also installed the program called
EASYCLEANER as i did ... Good Luck

Hello!
To reinstall Help and Support: Go to
C:\Windows\inf\pchealth.inf. Right click and choose
install. Have your CD handy.

Note: The folder is hidden by default. Go to Start/Run and
type in: control folders. View: Show hidden files and
folders and uncheck Hide extensions for known file types

If it doesn't help go to Start/Run and type in: helpctr
-regserver.

Did you try line 221 here http://www.kellys-korner- xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
Restore System Information (Msinfo32)
Tried it but still no sytem information. The version of
Msinfo32 installed "C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\MSINFO" is 5.1.2600.0.

I can run "msconfig" form the PCHEALTH directory.

Looking at the board it seems that a lot of people have
had the same problem but they don't seemto say whether
the suggested fixes work.

Thanks for the info anyway.
