or

To reinstall Help and Support: Go to
C:\Windows\inf\pchealth.inf. Right click and choose
install. Have your CD handy.

Note: The folder is hidden by default. Go to Start/Run
and type in: control folders. View: Show hidden files and
folders and uncheck Hide extensions for known file types

or

If it doesn't help go to Start/Run and type in: helpctr -

The help and support system included with windows xp it
very large and time consumeing to load, If your system
resources R low your computer could run out of ram b4 it
can finish opening the program. If u believe this maybe
true U could turn off some services b4 u try 2 open help
and support. 2 do this hit ctrl, alt and del at the same
time this will open windows task manager goto the
processes tab and then sort the list by User name, then
right click the processes U R not currently useing and
end process. dont do thing on items that say system
process or network process or local process only the
stuff listed by a users name. once u have temp. disabled
these programs u will have more ram available close task
manager down and then try to run help and support. hope
this works.
