Help and Support quit

Is there a quick fix or some other way to repair the Help
and Support feature with out having to do a repair with
the XP CD, System Restore is out of the question for me.

If the above repair does not work:

Go to Start > Run and type in: helpctr -regserver

To reinstall Help and Support:

Go to C:\Windows\inf\pchealth.inf.
Right-click and choose install. Have your XP CD available.

Note: The folder is hidden by default. Go to Start > Run and type in:
control folders. View: Show hidden files and folders and uncheck
"Hide extensions for known file types".

If you have used a registry cleaner such as Easy Cleaner then go here
http://www.dougknox.com/
and go to the Windows XP section. Follow the appropriate link for Fix
Window XP Help. The small VB Script will repair the damage done by Easy
Cleaner.
To avoid this when using Easy Cleaner simply type 'help' where it now says
norton.
