I would be very grateful if anyone could help me out with this problem.

When i load up the computer I always get the Help and Support Icon in the
system tray. A bubble appears every so often stating that the system has
detected a number of actrive spyware applications that may impact the
performance of the computer. Click the icon to get rid of unwanted spyware by
downloading an up-to date antispyware solution.

When i click on this bubble it takes me to the following web page - this you
have to register to and then pay for.

http://antivermins.com/?aff=321.

I have Zonelabs firewall and Lavasoft Adaware which all are up to date and
have found nothing. I have also run the stinger tool which also doesnt find
anything.

This problem is really annoying and I would be very gratefull if anyone
could help.

Many thanks.

Glad you got it sorted and thanks for the feedback, here is an utility to
use to scan for malwares:
http://www.safer-networking.org for Spybot S&D free use it and update the
definitions and run a scan on your computer from time to time.
