Help and Support Center launches constantly

My Help and Support Center launches automatically hundreds of times a
day, and I haven't been able to find a fix.

I am running Windows XP Professional on a Dell Invision laptop. In the
office I have it docked, and use a Microsoft Wireless Multimedia
Keyboard and Mouse. The launching happens while I am typing -
expecially if I am typing information into a dialog box. The first
keystroke doesn't trigger it, but the second one does. It also launches
when I use the shift key and the backspace (but not only during these
operations - these are just the ones I've noticed specifically).

I have checked to make sure that Help and Support is in Manual Launch
mode, which it is. I have even tried to disable it entirely, but then I
just get an error message when it wants to launch. I have also
downloaded fixes that were supposed to work, but nothing makes any
difference.

This has been driving me crazy since August - please help!

I have not had any responses to this posting. Isn't there anyone out
there who can help?
