Help and Support Center (helpctr.exe) question...

Does any one know how to restore this function in the H&SC of windows xp:

The Search feature no longer give results from the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
Number of results are always listed as 0. I may have used a registry
cleaner which might have removed the appropriate key. I have set the Search
Options to include the Knowledge Base but the problem persists.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

check your options in H&SC............
click options
click set search options
scroll down to knowledge base

I have done so. I have even applied the 'fixes' at www.dougknox.com and
www.kellys-korner-xp.com but H&SC refuses to search the Knowledge Base.

I am now trying to reinstall H&SC.

Still looking for help...
