login names (if you dont know what that is it is when you turn on your
computer and you click the icon that is yours and you type in your password
if you have one). So what is happening is that my name is administrator i

My Account:
Name= Administrator
Account Type= Computer Administartor

Sisters Account:

Problem:
I want to change my sisters account type to LIMITED but it wont let me even
though i am one of the COMPUTER ADMINISTRATORS...and also whenever i turn on
my computer my icon never pops up only my sisters and it goes straight to
hers...I tried everything...Then i did the classical login way when you type
your username and password then i get into mines...but i dont want to have
that...I just want to click on my name and then i am there...PLEASE PLEASE

It sounds like you were using the built-in Administrator account, which
is not a good idea for every day use. It should only be used as an
emergency fallback account.

The reason the Administrator account doesn't show on the Welcome Screen
is that it is purposely hidden as soon as another account with
administrative privileges is created (your sister's).

I don't know why you were unable to change your sister's account to
Limited; there are too many exclamation points and not enough data in
your post. Set that aside for now and fix your own account.

1. Create a new user account for yourself in whatever name you choose.
Then copy over your user settings and data from the Administrator
account by following these steps:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=811151

Notes:

a. You will need to log into the new user account once before you can
copy anything to it.

b. You will need to import email messages and your addressbook to the
new account.

c. You cannot delete the built-in Administrator account so you may just
want to delete the data in My Documents after you have made the move.

2. After you have created your new user account, go to the User Accounts
applet in Control Panel and select to show the Welcome Screen. You
should now see the Welcome Screen with icons for both your new account
and your sister's account.
