So I stumbled across this site while doing some searching around this "new" world called the Internet and am happy to see there is still some hope for this sort of discussion platform that many of the big money tech/Net folks are trying to insist is an ancient relic of past days and . . . well, y'all know that story line, don't you?

Oh yes, sorry to you British folks for using that vocabulary "New World". You folks and the French and the Spanish had a whole bunch of the New World for a bit. Uh oh, this is an intro section, not a history class.

So that title is clear, Tama Area is western Tokyo-to by quite a bit and have been in this part of Asia for decades. Yes, I'm an old fart. Spent a fair bit of time in other areas of Asia before here.

Tokyo-to is actually like a kind of prefecture here in Japan. The city itself is way east of this location. And Tokyo-to has a bunch of other cities within it; other than Tokyo. Uh oh, this is also not a geography class, is it?

Let's see, stumbled into your Community while doing some studying about Windows "search-ms" and then spotted that comedy section and was mighty impressed with some of those.

I reckon I'll be upsetting some of you folks with some of my radical views of this Internet and how it is being controlled too much by the Big Money folks.

By the way, I am aged, but I did not participate in that revolution thing back a few hundred years ago when that Washington fella and those others sort of asked you British folks to sort of ease those taxes and then . . . Well, y'all know that story, too.

Now, if you have had the patience to read this far, I'm impressed. I'll let you off the hook now. Had to get that vocabulary "hook" in there somehow as that "Two Fish" image in the comedy thread was super cool.
