Hello and has anyone tested GFI faxmaker with Exchange 2003/outlook 2003?

Hi,
I am currently testing GFI faxmaker 10 with Exchange 2000/Outlook 2000. I
like the product and we are thinking of purchasing a 10 or 25 user license.
However, we will probably migrate to Exchange 2003/Outlook 2003 next year.
Has anyone tested Faxmaker 10 with the latest releases of Exchange/Outlook?
Please advise. Thank you.

I used to use GFI, Problem is that is caught to many legit emails and the IT
department was responsible for everyone's white list. It was an
administrative nightmare. We have since moved to mxlogic www.mxlogic.com. It
is 100% better then any SPAM/Anti-Virus software out there.

Mt fault. I thought you were talking about the GFI for SPAM. Not that Fax
Software. Sorry for the confusion. My company used GFI for exchange as
well. We needed something that was more on a enterprise level so we went
with FaxCore.

Paul,

I think that you are referring to GFI MailEssentials. I think that you
did not configure MailEssentials correctly. Most probably you did not
make use of the autowhitelist which will reap email address from
Outbound emails and automatically add these to the Auto Whitelist,
making Adminstration much easier and causng less false positives. The
Bayesian filter has also proved to be very good to protect users from
SPAM emails.

I am very sorry that you have had bad experiences with the GFI
products. What type of network setup do you have in which GFI FAXmaker
did not fit?

As regards to your question Nasser, FAXmaker for Exchange version 10
does support Windows 2003/Exchange 2003/Outlook 2003. However, I would
recommend that you evaluate the product, so you can confirm that it
fits in your network setup.
