Can anybosy tell me how to STOP the computer from blocking pop up windows
that i actually want to see??


I belong to a competition which automatically opens a window but before i
can do a damn thing the window is killed by the PC

Hi Clive

Have you tried the settings for the SP2 pop-up blocker? Open Internet
Explorer and go to Tools>Pop-up Blocker>Pop-up Blocker Settings...

When you get a pop up you can decide for yourself whether to have it
blocked or allowed. It keeps a record of all the ones you want blocked
so the more you use it the fewer popups appear that you don't want.
Those that you want will keep appearing.

As far as I know it is still freeware.
