Hellllp! Where are my disc drives?

Problem,
Tried reinstalling a software program, rebooted and lost my drive letters
from explorer! Start-up lists them. But win XP cannot find them! I know
they're there.
Win XP Pro 384 Mb ram.

What program did you try to install? Do you mean that the Drive Icons
are not there any longer in Explorer?
 
SIR Q: Hold your horses,they didn't just up and run
away. You sound like a good equestrian who would know to
set a system restore point before a juant with the hounds.
