Hebrew in Win2k

P

PaulG

Please excuse me if this is a redundant post, but I can't find my post from
yesterday even after doing a search.

I installed Win2k pro. Checked all the right boxes in 'regional settings'
to allow for Hebrew, and the 'internat' icon on the task bar. But after
installing Office 2k Hebrew version with an English Language Pack, I am
unable to change the interface language to English by way of the "Microsoft
Office Tools> Microsoft Office Language Settings" applet. The applet comes
up with ????????? instead of words. Is there anything I can do about this?
If I install an English Office with the Hebrew Lang Pack, there's no
problem. I just don't happen to have an English ver. of Office anymore.
TIA PaulG

Hi Paul,

There's not much hope of your finding an Office answer here in the
Win2000 newsgroup, but you would probably have good luck asking in one
of the Office groups that are also hosted here.

Your earlier post is easily found by doing a search for paulg, you'll
find that post about 3:11 Sunday afternoon.
