Heart of Darkness: Error Message Help

Hi,

I am trying to open a database created in access 2003, but saved in
access 2000 format, in access 200 but am running into some trouble.
When I attempt the open I get the following error message.

Undefined function '[Format $]' in expression

However, this error message does not appear when I open the database in
access 2003.

Can anyone help out?

Does it tell you which line the error occurs. If not perhaps try to compile
in Access 2000 - Debug... compile I think is the command.

Maybe you have to qualify the command - eg if it were the Format$ command
and perhaps there is an Access and a VBA version of it you may just need to
prepend format with VBA.
