I am running Windows XP .....with Creative Sound 5.1
intergrated into Motherboard....on back of machine there
are three audio ports ...speaker right ..speaker left and
mic....there is both a mic and headphone input in front
of machine...unfortunately the headphone input does not
work....what am I doing wrong...???

Your Tower may not be compatable with you mother board
you should check with the manufacture.
