Heading 1 contents in the header appear half capitals and half sma

Hello,
I use Word 2007. "heading 1" in my document has the entry "The Research
Methodology". Choosing heading 1 from the Styleref and placing it into the
top header, places the contents of heading 1 correctly. The problem however
is that when I restart word, I find that "Research Methodology" has become
half written in capitals and the other half in smalls! like, ( THE RESEARCH
methodology" Highlighting the entry and choosing font then the capitals
effect does not change the distorted entry. Otherwise, I have to delete the
heading 1 from the header area and start from the begining again.

Any solution fr the problem? Can any one help?

Many thanks

Possibly, the original heading started to be typed in capitals and was
changed to smalls with the "Change Case" command when the typist saw
the mistake/decided to change the style after typing the first two
words. That command seems to let Word remember what was originally
typed -- note that Track Changes doesn't consider Change Case to be a
change.

Did the _next_ Heading 1 come into the StyleRef field ok?
