Headers in subreports

Is there any way I can get page headers to print on a
subreport?

If I run simply the subreport, the page headers work but
if I run it from within another report, I get nothing and
in some cases the page headers get split over 2 pages (ie.
bottom of one page and top of the next page).
 
Try to use Report Header in subreport.
Page Header in only for main report.
 
You can open your subreport in design view and view the sorting and grouping
dialog. Add a new top level group and set the field/expression to =1 and set
its Show Group Heading to Yes. Then close the sorting and grouping and open
the properties of the =1 Header. Set the Repeat Section property to Yes. Use
this section as your page header.
