Headers are not printed when i do a print - selection

I have a document with headers and footers that are printed on each page when
i print the entire document, or certain page numbers.
when i want to print a selection of lines, via print-selection, he will not
print the headers and footers.
how to make this work?

This seems to be working as expected; printing a selection should only
include what is explicitly selected. If you want to print only part of
a page, but include headers and footers, you can format the parts that
should not be printed in white (or as hidden text), and then print the
page (or a range of pages).
