Header for first page only

I have been trying to figure out a way to create a header (I have
Microsoft Word 2002) that only appears on the first page of my
document. This is for my office, and of course, I have a co-worker who
doesn't like the fact that when she's using the template, the header
(letterhead) appears on the second page. is there an easy way to set
this up? I have tried the "complicated" ways, and nothing is working
for me! I need something fairly simple, because the entire office will
be using this, and I don't want anyone else but me to be able to alter
the letterhead. Any help is appreciated!! Thanks!!!!!
