Header and footer

In my seven page document I only want my header and footer to appear on page
1. When I insert a page break the header and footer is inserted on all the
pages. How do I stop it!!!!

Hi Janet,

In order to have different headers and footers on different pages, you have
to insert a next page section break. I hope this has been helpful to you.

want one header on the first page and a different (or no)header on other

This is _not_ correct. A section break will make things more difficult
rather than easier.
