Header and Footer Change Page Orientation

When I add a header or footer to an Excel spread sheet
setup for landscape Excel consistently changes it to
portrait. Page Setup and print properties all have
landscape selected. This only happens when adding a header
or footer. Win 2000 Sp 4 MS Excel 2000 SP 3.

Hi!

What are you putting in the headers/footers?

Does the problem go away when you cancel the header/footer?

Don't assume I know the answer to your problem - as of now I'm jus
trying to understand the problem better.

Alf,
It does not matter if I add plain text or use auto insert
to either the header or footer. After a little more
experimenting I think it is related to the default printer
settings.
Thank you for your reply.
