Hello, i recently installed windows vista home premium on my pc, everything
with it is fine so far apart from a few bugs... My big problem is though that
my HDD cant make its mind up on how much space i have. Its a 200gb hdd but
somehow i have lost about 60 gb and im not sure where that is from as i havnt
installed many programs, also the hdd one day wil have 147 gb if i reboot it
may have 141gb the next day it could have 149gb....

can anyone suggest anything?

thanks
James

Are you sure you are not looking at the amount of free space, rather than the
size of the drive? The column that shows by default in 'Computer' is free
space, not total size.

If your drive partition is genuinely changing size like this then you either
have some third party boot software installed that is dynamically resizing
the partition (unlikely) or more likely your disk's partition table is very
corrupt, replace it immediately.

Seb.
