HDD 160GB - WIN 2000 read ongly 120GB

Hi,

I install on my pc witch Win2000 Pro an HD Maxtor 160GB, but the S.O. read
only 128GB...

can you tell me why?

The Windows 2000 installation program can't see past the 128GB hard
drive boundary, so if you created the partition using it, that's the
largest it will be. This is irrespective of the BIOS capabilities.
