hd not found

Hi, today I fire up the pc, enter win xp (pro), but I cannot see the
secondary hd (ibm pata). Though it was visible on boot. Checked the cables,
fired the pc again, secondary seen on boot, but again invisible from xp.
What happens? Any ideas? I have many files there.

is the drive listed there?

if so assign it a drive letter if it does not have one
