hd clone problem

i put a new hard drive in and copied partition
with pm 8.0 i can boot to the drive into windows
with the old drive as master and it gives me a choice
to load whichever installation of windows i want to
but when i hook up new drive as master it wont
boot into windows goes to a blue screen with
xp logo and just sits there

I can't understand how you might get a dual boot option just by copying a
hard drive.

Uninstall the old drive and run a repair installation.

PM is not a drive 'cloning' package, thus you won't get the basic data
across at root level.

you need Notrton Ghost or Powerquest Drive Image to clone.
