hi,

i can launch internet explorer and send it to where i wanna go,
however i want to use internet explorer to download files, the path of
which i pass as the URL in the command line. This works, but it also
lauches the browser aswell as the download file dialog.

My question is this, does anyone know the command line to launch
internet explorer so that the download file dialog appears but not the
browser?

Why use the browser and not an Http stream?

Why don't you just download the file programmatically?
