Have pps files open with slideshow by default

I have reinstalled PowerPoint and now, whenever I receive a pps file
attachment in an e-mail, it always opens in normal view.
I have looked in Help, etc. and cannot find a setting that will always
open a newly opened file in slideshow mode...
Help...please !!!
