I need assistance fairly soon. I use Microsoft Access 2002 at home, my
teacher is giving me assignments in Access 2003, it is a computer course
designed for 2003, I cannot do any of my assignments..when I go to the tool
bar in access it only converts to 02, what should I do?

Access 2002 and Access 2003 both use the same file format. Furthermore, both
of them default to Access 2000 format, and you have to explicitly change
that.

You should have no problems doing your assignments.

As Doug said, there should be no trouble. I teach an A03 class and everything
in it can be done with AXP/A02. Heck most of it can be done in A2K. There are
a few differences between A02 and A03, like in XML, but you'd have to be in a
very, very advanced class to run into them.

What is happening that you can't do the assignments? If you are copying the
MDB file from a CD, it could just be a matter of being read only. Copy the
file to your hard drive; find it with Windows Explorer; right-click on the
file; go to Properties; and turn off Read Only if it is set.
