I am using Microsoft Office Professional at home. There are critical updates
needing to be downloaded but because of my slow dial up which is all that is
available in my area I can not get it downloaded. I am either disconnected or
it just stops.I wanted a cd for large downloads to be provided by Microsoft.
After all it is their program that is that they are correcting or patching. I
purchased a very expensive program and immmediately after installing it , it
needs critical updates.

Have you searched the Microsoft web site for ordering instructions for a CD?
Have you called Microsoft to request such a CD? Have you considered posting
your comments / request / question to a microsoft.public... newsgroup for
Office? This one is specifically for Q & A about Microsoft Access database
software, not Office in general.

dude, you're lame get broadband

if you can't have it where you are, move to where you can get it

you know those real estate people used to say 'location, location,
location?'

in my book; different service levels for broadband internet are going
to make the most important thing bandwidth, bandwidth, bandwidth
