have a powerpoint presentation I cant open with office 2003

I have a PP presentation which will not open with office 2003 student &
teacher edition. supported by a sony vaio?
 
Have you applied SP-1 to Office 2003? Open PPT and go to Help/Check for
Updates to install that patch.
