have a different image display when screen is refreshed

I would like to learn how to have several different pictures display in a
sequence every time someone refreshes their screen. For example, we have a
section on our home page that shows "featured publications." How can I have
an image of a different publication display each time someone refreshes their
screen. I would like to use 7-10 images that would display one at a time,
each time a refresh is performed.
