Hauppauge WinTV PVR II (26xxx) and Vista Ultimate

I have just upgraded from MCE 2005 to Vista Ultimate. Only 1 problem - the
PVR card whilst recognised and installed correctly according to device
manager doesnt seem to work properly. No amount of driver installations (the
one from Windows Update and the latest one from Hauppauge) will resolve the
problem. In Media Center when you setup the TV signal - I dont see anything
but a blank screen under any option, Select Channel, S-Video, Composite 1 & 2
etc - all are blank. My setup is as follows. Sky box with RF out to TV-in on
PVR card. (this setup worked for 18months on MCE 2005 without a problem) .
Hauppauge's own s/w WinTV2000 does yield a display of the TV with sound but
the picture is terrible. However Media Center gives me nothing..... according
to these posts a lot of people are using the PVR ok - can someone tell me
what they've done cos it dont work for me. My PVR is the 150 and I presume
the MCE edition. It came with a HP M1280.uk Media Center PC already installed
so worked out of the box. Any help on this would be gratefully
received.............

My Hauppauge PVR150MCE worked out of the box on x64 Vista Ultimate. On XP
Home (with Beyond TV), I saw behavior similar to what you describe until I
updated the drivers.
