that was a bit harsh rifleman, you can tell they were a
noob,

But still, there should be rules. Only uncomfortable issue
I have is to track down a message I posted. It's
impossible to browse through the endless heaps of
nothingness. Can probably use time and date, but it a
number will be better, since we're not all in the same
time zone.

That's because you are using the idiot's interface.
Here's your mail

Here's your post on your default news server (if you have one and if it has your post)

Because everyone on the idiots interface (I don't pull punches. do I?) uses the same mail address there is nothing that can help for posts made in the past. But in future posts can be tracked via View menu - Current View - Show Replies To My Messages.

Also the idiot's interface will prevent you receiving fixes. You just won't see them.

Microsoft don't know how to code web pages. I posted comparisions before that show their web pages are 1 magnitude of inefficiency over a hand coded page. That is it takes 10 times as long to download their page, and it not viewable untill downloaded. This is because it's cheap for them.

Grrrr... ;-)

Thanks David and Michael.

I've tried that. No wonder it never worked. The port was
blocked on the firewall.
