Harmful Pop-Ups

Anyone know anything about removing harmful popups? Some how my IE6 has been
infected by pop ups. However a scan with current NAV and current Adaware
doesn't remove the pop ups. They seem to be more annoying than anything with
lots of adult sites, selling pharmaceuticals, etc. It resets my homepage
everytime I open IE6. We put the Google toolbar on which is helping to block
them. IE6 is current with security updates, at least that is what the MS
Update Scan tells me. I am tempted to uninstall IE6 and try again. Any ideas
are appreciated.

Find and use toolbarcop.exe, spybot search and destroy and spywareblaster.
All three are easy to use. The toolbarcop fixes your toolbar. You didn't
mention of any toolbar problems. Some toolbar add-ons or search engines
alter your startup page. Spybot search and destroy works like ad-aware but,
I think it is better. Also to keep any cookies and trackers from being
d/l'ed to your comp, use spywareblaster. Spywareblaster is very good because
you can run it (and update it) and then exit it. It does not need to keep
running on your computer. Since I ran spywareblaster, the spybot S&D has not
found anything since. I don't have the links for these though. (I'm too lazy
to get em).
