can i add SATA disks to my already two ide hard disks? and do i need
specific SATA power cables or can i use the current power connectors

you can add with an adapter card, and there are molex to sata power
adapters.

splitters are cheap and plentiful, if you don't buy one from the first
place you happen upon, even the second hand stores might have some.
