Hardware Profile Corrupt?

When I boot my Laptop I get a series of beeps followed by the Hardware
Profile/Configuration Recovery Menu. In the menu there is only 1 hardware
profile to choose from. If I just hit enter it seems to continue booting
fine. I can't seem to find much documentation on this.

Does this indicate that the hardware profile is corrupt?

Is there a solution? I don't have System Restore turned on so that isn't an
option.
