Hardware Problem Causes problems with bootup

Hi all,

When I installed windows a month ago, PnP assigned the same
IRQ to the NIC as the Video Adapter. Now the system reports
it cannot access the driver (properly). Since windows
installed the devices as "legacy", the wizard cannot change
the irq channel. I need a hardware settings and registry
specialist to inform me how I can edit either of these
settings. I am NOT about to change a hard drive to cure an
irq problem.
Checking the resources map, I have IRQ 5 free to use for
this. What should I look for and what should be changed.

Start | Run <type in> devmgmt.msc <enter>

Go to one of the devices that is sharing the IRQ, right click.
properties. tab to resources.

If there is a conflict you will be able to change the IRQ there.
