Hardware install wizard locked

The computer locked during install of a video card. Now it is stuck in the install wizard routine. I can not get it to finish the install nor can I install any other hardware. If I click on the hardware install icon it tells me it is doing an install and can not do 2 at the same time.

Any ideas hoe to get it out of this?

May have to boot to safe mode and delete windows temp/tmp folders.
