New Hardware Wizard Fails to Finish HP Installation

Has anyone else had the new hardware wizard fail to finish installation so
that each time you boot you are asked to finish the printer installation/ If
so, any ideas?

Not positive from the wording of your post if this applies.

The New Hardware Wizard may detect the printer device after every restart of
the computer;

Thanks Doug, I suffered from the same uncertainty as to whether it applies
when I saw it. Let's see if anyone else has any other ideas. Thanks again.

Contact HP either via telephone if the printer is new, or online support at
www.hp.com .

With HP products you must follow the installation instructions precisely.
You might try a reinstall of the printer. Uninstall any software and
folders, and delete all Temp files.
