Hardware Independent Imaging

Does anyone have instruction on doing Hardware Inpendent Imaging. I am
working with Windows XP, Dell Precision 670, Dell Optiplex GX270, Dell
Optiplex GX260 and HP e-pc. Can anyone help me with information on creating
a single image that could be placed on either of the system mentioned. I
have heard mention of Injecting HAL's, but I'm not familiar with the
procedure. I would really appreciate help on this issue.
 
Sorry, wrong newsgroup. This newsgroup is for Microsoft Access, a database
application.

Have you tried Google on "Injecting HAL"?
