Hardware change

Hi
I have Vista 32 bit premium operating system and will be renewing
motherboard, processor, graphics card and ram memory in my computer. Does
this affect my Vista license agreement with Microsoft?
I have no intention of renewing my Hard drives with the operating system
installed thereon.
The old parts will be used to build another computer for which I will
purchase a 2nd Vista operating system for.

Given the number of core components you're swapping out, I'd strongly
recommend that you reinstall Windows - either a repair install, or a clean
install - afterwards. A phone call to Microsoft may be necessary to
re-activate Windows afterwards, but will probably be necessary anyway even
if you don't reinstall since activation is sure to be triggered by this
major of a hardware upgrade.

Also depending on your license type (OEM, Retail) OEM can be a little murky
but "generally" relates to the motherboard being replaced where the license
would need to be replaced also, but some people have had luck from Microsoft
in being allowed to re-activate. Retail on the other-hand can be freely
re-installed as long as it is only used on the number of computers you have
purchased licenses for.
