hello,
the Autoplay tab has started showing up on the hard drive / properties
when right clicking the drives from "my computer".

I looked in the event viewer and opened up disk management, but everything
looks OK.

Anybody come across this before ?
Thanks fr any info -

No Malware detected. No "autorun.inf" in the root.
This was apparently related to the Nvidia SATA driver and the "safely remove
icon" functionality.
It seems, based on the default driver install, windows treated the drive as
removable, even though it's a fixed HDA.
I applied the registry fix as stated here:
http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r17674901-Internal-HD-showing-up-as-a-removable-device
and the problem was resolved.

Strange thing is, I installed the driver weeks ago - did I only just notice
it?

Dave
