Bonnie

Hi,
while looking through my event viewer this morning found
a warning Event ID 51, Source, Disk
An error was detected on device\Device\Harddisk 0\D
during a paging operation.
Can this mean my hard drive is going out?
Would appreciate hearing from anyone right now.
Thank you
Bonnie

Probably not, that is the pagefile and they are wacko at
best. It's a common error.

Hi Bonnie,

Start/run cmd

Run 'chkdsk C: /f' and follow the prompts for it to run at system reboot
(you can't run this check while the drive is "mounted" - meaning it's in
use).
