hard drive

Hi all, i have just installed a new second hard drive on my desktop pc. the
problem i am having is that although the start up screen has recognisedand
the device manager has found and installed the driver for it for some unknown
reason when i go into my computer the drive isnt there. any ideas

Try creating a partition!!

Access Disk Management, see if the drive is listed there but no drive letter
has been assigned. If that's the case assign a drive letter if you can. If
not, report back. But if you do, give details as to the HDs in your system,
specifically how you've connected/configured/jumpered them, etc.
