hard drive

i have installed another hard drive on my computer, i have it set as slave,
bios picks it up during post, but when windows is started and i goto my
computer the drive doesn't show. i can even goto the device manager and i can
see it there too. what is wrong?

did you partition the drive, then format the partition(s) with a filesystem
windows can use?
go the the control panel->administration tools (or similar) computer
management, disk management
