Hard drive space lost

I will try to make this short. I was having trouble capturing video into MM2
software before, but after days of trying to figure things out I finally
solved problem. I sent firewire card and cable back to manufacturer and they
sent new ones. I installed them and everything worked fine until yesterday.
Tried to send movie to camcorder and error window came up and stated it did
not detect dv device. Camcorder was connected to cable and was in the play
mode. I tried installing software that came with the new firewire card and
window came up and stated that there were no capture drivers installed on my
computer. How could this be ??? Everything has been working just fine. I
tried different things to try to solve the problem and finally I did a system
restore and problem solved.

Now to my very important question. I have lost a tremendous amount of space
on my hard drive. Started with 50,000 MB and ended up at end of day with
40,000 MB. The only thing that I tried to do was to send movie from MM2 to
my camcorder and computer locked up several times. I tried this 3 or 4
times, but still locked up. When I checked the hard drive space I have lost
10,000 MB's of space. Where did it go and how can I find it on computer to
delete?? I have did this procedure 8 or 10 times in the last couple of weeks
and have had no problems. Someone please help, I am losing all my hard drive
space for no reason , thanks, chuck.

MM made a temp file of your video - and it never got cleaned up. Find it and
delete it.
