Hard drive RPM help

Hi I need to find what RPM my 80 gig hard drive is running at, there is no
telling from reading the info on the HDD its self so is there a free program
I can download to use to find out the speed? Thanks Shaun B.

and what does that show, other drives with their spec speeds.

while data is given on my drive the speed says 0
 
all you will find are programs that will tell you if your drive is 4500,
5400, 7200 or 10000.. Such as Everest. You won't find a program to tell you
the exact speed of your drive at any given time

Look up the model number, find manufacturors spec sheet.
