Hi all,
I recently installed 2 160g hard drives to my system and
everything looks ok. i.e. the bios recognizes them, Windows
XP recognizes them, I can format them using the disk manage
utility and I can write files to them. However, whenever I
try to right click and select Properties from the menu I
get a system error the windows explorer needs to shut down.
I also get the same type of result in the disk manager. If
I right click and try to select Properties the Manage
application shuts down.
I currently have them hooked up to the controller card that
came with the harddrives but I get the same result when I
hook them up to the RAID slots on the motherboard.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions that anyone has.
