If the drive works in another computer, then you know the drive is still
good. Therefore the problem must lie in the way you've installed it in
the upgraded computer. As I said, check jumpering - on *both* drives
since some drives require a different jumpering for Master-with-slave
than they do for just Master/Single. Also you might try a different IDE
cable, making sure it is 80-pin and not the old 40-pin.
Other than that, you might consider having someone knowledgeable take a
look since it will be rather difficult to diagnose what you are doing
wrong without actually seeing the computer.
