hard drive probems

i installed windows xp pro on my ibm think pad after wind 98 se crashed.my
hard drive size is 11.24 gb xp installed as 2.00 fat with 9.24 unallocated
space.i am out of drive space and need to use the unallocated space.can
anyone tell me how to correct this

either use fdisk or use the windwos disk management to format the space...if
you can't do that then use partition magic....that'll format it and merge it
into the 2 gig space....
